Rice_Pudding_Oven
Preheat oven to 160°C/Fan 140°C/Gas Mark 3. Using 10g of salted butter lightly grease a large deep sided ovenproof dish, leave rest of the butter in the bottom of the dish. Add 100g of rice, 25g of caster sugar and 750ml of semi-skimmed milk, stir well. Bake in the centre of the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Stir to separate the grains of rice. Return to oven for a further 1 hour, unril a lightly browned skin has formed on the surface of the pudding.
